v1.6.0
MinorDubbing, rebuilt
Dubbing now runs on two engines, dubs into several languages at once and keeps every speaker in their own voice. Uploads survive a closed tab, a failed dub is never charged, and you pick whether you get the video or just the audio. Free generators need no account, and the dashboard works on phones.
Added
- Two dubbing engines: Cypher, our own, in 23 languages, or ElevenLabs in 94. Both cost the same, so a plan buys the same hours on either.
- Dub into several languages in one go: up to 2 at once on Creator and Pro, 3 on Business and Scale.
- Every speaker in a video is dubbed in their own cloned voice.
- Choose what a dub hands back: the video with the new voices (MP4), or the dubbed track alone as MP3 or WAV.
- Uploads resume where they stopped. Close the tab or lose the connection and the dub picks up without sending the file again.
- Voice mode, the spoken language, names and terms to keep as they are, and regional dialects for the languages that have them.
- A timeline of every dubbed line, and subtitles made straight from a finished dub with no second upload.
- Regenerate a dub: dub the same media again with another engine, languages or format, without uploading it again. Every dub of a media sits on one page, next to the original.
- Free script, video ideas and story structure generators that work without an account.
- A How It Works page, and a page of its own for every open role on Careers.
Changed
- The dashboard works on phones and tablets, and the how-it-works guides fold away on smaller screens.
- Login, signup and contact pages are redesigned.
- Dubbing is priced at 10 credits a minute, which gives Creator 5 hours a month. Larger source files are accepted on every plan.
- A dub's details page shows its status, languages and finished media, with retry for anything that stopped.
Fixed
- A dub that fails is never charged. If only some languages finish, only those are paid for.
- Pages could show a feature as locked when a plan or setup check was slow or failed. They now wait for a real answer.
- Subtitle lines showed raw HTML entities such as & instead of the character.
- A referral bonus was promised before the code was checked.
Security
- Profiles are no longer publicly readable, and every critical and high severity dependency advisory is cleared.
Removed
- The made-up testimonials on the landing page.
